Pop Of Pink meet Botanical Builder Framelits

Good morning!
I am really enjoying getting back into crafting and blogging lately. There are some truly gorgeous stamps, dies and bundles in this year's annual catalogue and it's hard to resist playing!

So today I'm showing you a card I made for a demo at a local craft group last Monday.

Today's card showcases the Pop of Pink DSP, and the Botanical Builder Thinlits, along with a little Sweet Sugarplum inking, using Sponge Daubers to give the flowers a little colour.

I finished the card with a White Perfect Accents and some scattered leaves. By the way, did you notice where they came from? You know I'm not one to waste anything!

Thanks for popping by again today and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Manly Bloomin' Heart!

Hello and happy Friday!
So in my last post I promised to show you a way to use the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits for a 'manly' and non 'lovey dovey' style card. So what do you think of this...

I used our new Dapper Denim card stock to cut out the heart, and stuck it to the base card. Then I cut '40' out of the top panel, using the Large Numbers Thinlits, and popped this up on Dimensionals.

And then, because I forgot to do it before, (oops!) I stamped the sentiment from the Number Of Years stamp set over the number.

So this was a super quick, easy, man card, made using an unlikely die!

Have a fab day and hope to see you soon.

Bloomin' Sweetheart

Good morning all!
Today I'm showing you one of my new favourite dies. You may remember it being in the Spring/Summer catalogue, and I am very excited to see it in the new annual catalogue! I have used it in a slightly different way though....do you recognise it?

The die is from the gorgeous Bloomin' Heart Thinlits. I cut the heart out of Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper. To give the heart a different shape, I die cut a sweetheart shape out of the top panel of my card using one of the new Sweet and Sassy Framelits dies and stuck the filigree heart behind it.

Doesn't it look lovely? I finished with a simple punch Bitty Butterfly and some Basic Pearls.

I'd love it if you could join me on Friday when I will show you a 'manly' and not so 'lovey dovey' way to use this gorgeous heart.

Have a lovely day and see you soon!

A box frame for my Goddaughter's Christening

Morning all!
Today's project was something I made for the Christening of my lovely Goddaughter, Lucy.

I decided to make something special as a keepsake, so I decided a box frame style card would be perfect. I printed the sentiment onto the inner panel, then added the cross from All God's Grace, which I heat embossed in silver before fussy cutting it out.

Keeping it simple, I finished with a large Basic Rhinestone.

We had a wonderful day at the christening. Here are a couple of my favourite pictures from the day, courtesy of Camera Obscura Photography...

I love these :) Have a nice day!

One for Dad's everywhere!

Hey again :)
Ok, so as I said on Wednesday, I haven't been blogging or crafting much, but I have made the odd few things over the last few months, so I'm going to share some of them over the next few posts. Here is the card I made for my Dad for Father's Day...

I combined a few products for this card...Hello You Thinlits ('Happy' cut out of the white panel), Timeless Textures (for the blobs and coffee circles), Thoughtful Banners Bundle (for the sentiment).

I used the new 2016/17 In Color, Dapper Denim for the stamping and the card base. Pretty manly, don't you think?

See you again soon :)
