Happy 30th!

Good morning!
Well what a horrid, windy, wet morning it is here in Bolton! So here is a pretty, spring like card to lift your spirits!

I have used the gorgeous free (yes...free!) Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack, layered onto Wisteria Wonder card to show off that lovely pattern. How do you get it free?? Well, see the end of my post and I'll tell you :)

The glittery numbers are created using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and the fab, and very popular, Large Number Framelits. I added the pretty flower die cut and built from the Botanical Builder Framelits. The large flower is just the same size as the one in the pattern on the vellum too!

So how do you get the vellum stack free? Well quite simply, for every £45 you spend with me, you can choose any one of the Sale-A-Bration items, including this stunning vellum, for free! So if you spend £90 you can have 2 free items, etc!

You can browse the catalogues by clicking the links over there on the right>>>>>>>>

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you get to make the most of this rubbish weather (by hiding in your craft room and crafting!!)

WOW! 5 already!

Hi everyone!
Wow today is the 5th Birthday of one of my favourite ever challenge blogs, Less is More! I used to enter every week, often up on the dot of 8am to see what the challenge was so I could get my card made!

Life is a little different these days and I don't enter challenges much now, but when I saw Jen at the hairdresser's this morning and she told me about the challenge I decided I had to enter! I knew exactly what I was going to make, so I made this card, without visiting the LIM blog first. The challenge, by the way, is White on White.

I used the stunning Bloomin' Heart Thinlit die for this. I die cut it from my panel then glued it to the base card. I then popped the panel back on top using Dimensionals.

I added a few die cut flowers with a touch of  clear Wink Of Stella, not that it's showing on here, but believe me, they have a lovely shimmer! The sentiment was then stamped in Smoky Slate, from the matching stamp set, Bloomin' Love, die cut and also popped on Dimensionals.

This is a really elegant card and I'm chuffed with how it turned out!

I had a lovely day in Nantwich yesterday, and had the most delicious cheese scones in a wonderful little tea room by the name of Ginger and Pickles. If you're ever in Nantwich, I strongly recommend a visit! All their food and cakes are handmade and they have a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas!

Right, I'm off to Huddersfield now to visit my parents. Have a fab Saturday and hope to see you soon! :)

Botanical Beauties

Hello again!
Well, today is my birthday so I thought I would share a birthday card with you today :) I've used a wonderful new set of dies for this card, along with a free stamp. Yes you heard right...FREE

These are the Botanical Builder Framelits...aren't they fabulous?! There is so much potential for these! :) I cut the flowers out from Daffodil Delight card and inked them with Pumpkin Pie ink and a Sponge Dauber. The leaves are Always Artichoke and I used the matching stamp set, Botanical Blooms, to stamp the veins on them.

Now remember me mentioning the free stamp? Well the sentiment is from that set, which is Sky Is The Limit. I love how the sentiment makes it useful for girly cards as well as man cards!

It's one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets and you can get it free simply by placing an order of £45! For more details, click on the link over there on the right>>>

A Timeless Birthday

Hi again!
See, told you I'd be back tonight! And, as promised, here is a little card using some of the new stuff from the Spring/Summer catalogue...

This very simple, elegant card is made using Tempting Turquoise card stock and I stamped the matted layer with the flourish from the gorgeously grungy Timeless Textures, also in Turquoise.

I then added some of the lush Watermelon Wonder Stitched Satin Ribbon across the panel and added my stamped and die cut numbers from the Number of Years bundle. These are awesome big numbers...just what I have been waiting for!

So what did I use today?

Did you also know that it is Sale-a-Bration at the moment? What is that you ask? It is a very special time at Stampin' Up! where for every £45 you spend, you get to choose a free item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure! And there are some really awesome things in there this year! You can click on the link to the right >>> to see more, or let me know and I'll send you a lovely paper copy for you to sit down with a cuppa with!

Right, I'm off for now, but hopefully I will see you very soon :)

Christmas...really??

Hehe hi everyone!
Ok so I know Christmas is but a distant memory, but as we all know, it will 'creep up' on us again this year, ('cos 12 months isn't enough notice of course!), so I thought you might like to have a little bit of early inspiration, if you want to get all organised, like me. (NOT!)

Now I know that there is a yummy new Spring/Summer catalogue, with lots if scrummy new stamps and punches and Framelits and ribbons and....BUT, have you seen the gorgeous stamps and punch/Framelit bundles that are being carried over?? Well, before long you may not be able to get your hands on them! And that would be a shame right? So today's card is using one of those sets, and one of my favourites too if I'm honest!

This awesome set is Snow Place stamp set, and Snow Friends Framelits, available as a bundle at 15% off! There are a LOT of stamps and framelits with this set so very well worth the money! And the stamps are Photopolymer too! :)

I stamped the cute snow boy and snow lady, their cute accessories and arms and then cut them all with the matching Framelits. So easy! I stamped the base of the card with the snowflakes then tore a couple of pieces of card to create the snow drifts, which I popped up on Dimensionals so I could sit the snow people and the Festival of Trees 'into' the snow. The sentiment was stamped using my Stampin' Write Markers and I finished by cutting out Keiran's name with the Little Letters Thinlits and sponging them with ink.

Altogether a cute card, don't you think? Oh and it's a 7in x 7in card...I like to give big cards!

I hope you like this card...it was one of my favourites this year!

If you would like to see something made using some of the new Spring/Summer goodies, do pop back tomorrow evening :)
