It's a very special day today! Sketch Saturday is 6 years old this week! Wow! I can't remember a time where I wasn't either entering the challenges, or on the DT!

Happy 6th Birthday!!

To celebrate we have a blog hop with secret prizes along the way!

So we do also have a sketch challenge for you too...but it's your choice! You can use any sketch from #215-#311. I used #280

So here is my card, and I'm using some sneak peek new In Colour products! Yes you heard right....SNEAK PEEK!!!

Fantastic Stampin' Up! joining offer!

Good evening all!

I wanted to share something with you today...the reason I joined Stampin' Up!

Around 3 years ago I bought my first Stampin' Up! item, and soon after I joined a Stampers 6 group where the more I bought, the more I began to fall in love with all their stamps, papers, dies, inks, etc. So in November 2012 I took advantage of a fantastic joining offer and signed up, with the intention of being no more than a hobby demo. Then I made and blogged a card with some paper piercing on and a few people ordered the Paper Piercing Essentials pack from me. I then realised that I could actually do more with Stampin' Up! than I thought I could!

I am now a Silver 1 demo, with a small, but growing team of demos, and I am loving every minute of it!

So why am I telling you all this?
Well it's because Stampin' Up! have another one of their fantastic joining offers starting today! If you have been thinking of joining for a while, but just needed a good offer to push you a little, now's your chance!

Yes, just £50!!!

There are other reasons to join now too...

*The brand new annual catalogue! - As an active demonstrator, you will be able to take advantage of the pre-order period for the new annual catalogue which starts on May 30th! This means you can even add pre-order items to your starter kit!!

*The brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue! - You will also be able to get your hands on brand new products during the pre-order period, beginning August 1st, before the general public!

*20% Discount! - You get all your products at 20% cheaper than non-demos, and you can also earn extra when your sales/purchases reach certain targets.

*£55 worth of products - Choose your products from the catalogue...anything you like!

*2 months free DBWS! - The online business site and shop service that allows people to buy directly from you is usually £8.95 per month, but you can get started straight away for free!

*30% Discount on your first order! - Place an order of £150 within your first 45 days as a demo and not only will you qualify for hostess credits (free stuff!), but you will also get 30% off your order!

*Free business kit including catalogues, order forms, invitation postcards, etc! - Everything you need to get started as a business demo, if that is your plan!

So all in all, a pretty good deal isn't it? Oh and you do know that Project Life and Blendabilities can also be added to your starter kit from 30th May too right?

Phew! What a lot of info! The £99 joining offer is also still available and will run alongside the £50 offer, so you can choose how to join!

Oh there is something else too... I like to welcome new demos to my t'INKerbelles team with a little gift from me...

Along with a Demonstrator Handbook, I will also send you your very own notebook, useful for party planning, business notes, or, like me, your wish list! And there's a little gift in a pretty pouch too! See the blank space on the notebook? What name shall I put on it? It's waiting just for yours!

If you would like any more information, or a chat about joining, the benefits, how it all works, then please do contact me. I would be very happy to talk you through everything and I am always here to give you any support you need.
This offer is only available until 30th June 2014.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Stampin' Up! retiring list!

Good morning everyone!
Well it's that time of year again! It's time for Stampin' Up! to release a list of items that, sadly, will not make it into the new Annual catalogue.

(click the links below for the PDF)
There are many items I'm sure you will be sad to see go, so if you wish you had got it, it's time to act promptly as these items tend to sell out very quickly!

Click on the picture to visit my online shop.

So while I'm here, here is a project made using a couple of the retired items, the Flower Shop Bundle and Wisteria Wonder Taffeta ribbon.

This is another shopping list...they are such fun to make! :)

I used Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight...a lovely combination don't you think?

Right...I shall be back tomorrow with a blog hop from Sketch Saturday!
Until then, happy shopping!

Frugal Friday #4

Happy Friday to you all and welcome to Frugal Friday Challenge #4! Have you got some scarps to use up? Then come and join my challenge!

*if you are looking for more posts from me this week, please scroll down*

But first, here are my top winners for last week...

Lynn

Jane

Congrats ladies! :)

Now as you know, I was making wedding stationery this week using the stunning Springtime Vintage DSP, printed from MDS. You will also remember that I had loads of it left!

In case you forgot, here's a reminder...

There is just no way I could let all this gorgeous DSP go to waste, so I have made it my mission to use it all up...I am getting there...slowly!

Anyway, today's card is also made using this lovely paper, and more to the point, the strips you can see top right of the picture above.

Now for some reason unknown even to me, I don't seem to make female retirement cards, (perhaps it's because us ladies never truly retire do we??), so I decided to make one! The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and is stamped in Melon Mambo, then punch using the Word Window punch. I then layered it onto some Large Oval punched DSP.

I embossed the whole card blank using the gorgeous Beautiful Baroque Embossing Folder...isn't it just stunning with the DSP? I distressed each of the strips and the oval with my Distressing Tool to give a vintage feel. I am sooooo in love with this paper...I want it on my walls! I used the layout from this week's Freshly Made Sketches as inspiration,
and I also am entering it into the Flowers challenge at Less Is More.

You can download the lovely paper, for MDS, by clicking on the picture below.

Not got MDS yet? Well then here is a free trial, just for you!

I shall leave you to craft now...get those scraps used up, and link up below. Oh and don't forget to show a picture of your scraps too! :)

CAS-Colours and Sketches - The Double!

Good morning everyone!
We have a new challenge at CAS-Colours and Sketches and because May has 5 Thursdays, this week is a double challenge!

So here is what I came up with...

I have used Retro Fresh DSP and the Peachy Keen stamp set for my card.

I chose the colours for this challenge based on this DSP and I think these stamps work really well with it, don't you?

Thank you all for joining in my challenges during May! We have a new hostess next month...I wonder what she'll have in store for us?

Have a fab Thursday and I'll see you tomorrow :)

Stippled Birthday

Good morning!
Another quick post from me this morning. Remember the Stampin' Framed I made for Keiran's Nanna and Grandad? Well it is also Nanna's birthday on the same day as their anniversary so here is the card I made her...

Again, I used Stippled Blossoms and the leaves from Secret Garden.

I used a sentiment from hostess set Express Yourself and finished with some Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.

Right...must dash...visiting my best friend from school today!
Have a good one!

Pretty shopping list

Good morning everyone!
This is a super quick post as I am going to my parents' in Huddersfield and need to get going shortly!

Today I have made a pretty shopping list...

I used a strip of the lovely Springtime Vintage DSP from MDS and simply added some Crumb Cake and Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon and some stamped and punched Petite Petals.

Who says shopping lists have to be boring??

Ok that really is all from me today...sorry it's so short but life is always a hurry in the school holidays!
Have a great day!

CASEd Papillon Potpourri...is it yours?!

Helloooo!
Are you enjoying the bank holiday in the UK? I am, even though I have been working. Keiran has been with his Dad all weekend and while I miss him like crazy, it has been nice to have some evenings to myself.

During one of my evenings 'off', I made this card, which was inspired Amanda's card I found on Pinterest, which you can find here.

I have used En Francais, (in fact, this is a piece that was laying on my desk already stamped - Frugal Friday!) I cut out an aperture using the Labels Collection Framelits and paper pierced around both the inner and outer of the shape.

I then used a Papillon Potpourri butterfly, stamped in Daffodil Delight onto So Saffron Cardstock and cut out using the matching punch. I finished with some Daffodil Delight Seam Binding.

Here are links to each of the products I used...

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll pop back again soon :)

Stippled Blossoms bringing sunshine

Hi, hi, hi everyone!
I hope your weekend is going well? I have so far spent it working, crafting, getting Keiran through a tricky level of Skylanders and catching up on 3 episodes of Nashville! And work tomorrow!

For now though, let me show you one of the things I made last night...

This is a frame I have made for Keiran's Nanna and Grandad for their wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They are two very cheerful and fun people and they help me so much with looking after Keirna so I can work both on my job and my Stampin' Up business, so this sentiment is perfect for them! They have recently had their living room decorated so I took inspiration from this for the frame.

I used Feel Goods and Stippled Blossoms, teamed with the leaves from Secret Garden and Summer Silhouettes which were stamped in Sahara Sand. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and heat embossed it in clear Stampin' Emboss powder. I finished with Real Red Candy Dots.

Here is a picture of their living room to show you where the inspiration came from.

That wallpaper is practically Stippled Blossoms isn't it?

Here is what I used to create this frame
